To EJJ/JV. from Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 1515 Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Swdl. {Len H. Swindell} 11./AP.1.7.37 No.5. TEST HOUSE. Will you please order sufficient 1.00 dia water feed pipe for the D.P.X.4. dynamometer in the above test house to replace the existing pipe which is .750 dia. We have had continous trouble in connection with not being able to hold the Ph.III. unit down to any constant speed. We are given to understand that the feed pipe for the D.P.X.4. should be 1.00 dia., so that the fact that at present we only have .750 dia. may account for the 'racing away' trouble we have experienced.
