This column is for Name of Person addressed. DATE. crankshaft bearings. The fault may not be directly due to this and I am investigating the matter but so far cannot see any other definite reason. CLUTCH:- This, as before pointed out is not running satisfactorily as the clutch does not disengage, the fabric leaving the cone. It is very important to ascertain how to overcome this trouble and we intend to tackle this job in same way as we are tackling the job on chassis we are now turning out as standard. SPRING DRIVE COUPLING KNOCKS:- This is due to slack between bore of coupling end and the sphere, which although is only .004" is quite objectionable as regards knocking when the engine is running light. I have taken up the matter with Mr Bailey. THE FRONT SPRING has been overstrained and Contd. This sheet must be filed with the correspondence to which it refers. | ||
