Phantom III Brakes.
Further to my memo E.6/HP.8.10.36, I omitted to mention that we want to know from your tests whether the sheet metal stop is likely to set up noise on the road.
On the rebound the bell crank lever comes away from the stop, but on the bump is held by the stop, and slack is put in the brake ropes.
If this action results in any audible effects we propose to face the stop with rubber.
