Our tests on the thin flange flywheel have shown that its effect is to reduce the speed of the vibration from 3100 R.P.M. to 2500 R.P.M., and also greatly to reduce its intensity.
We have fitted to this engine the full Chrysler balance weights with a view to reducing their moment until the flywheel vibration can again be felt. With full balance it is absent.
