Bailey - Chief Engineer} _____ CAR POLICY. * In the December Journal of the Automobile Engineers, there is an instructive article by Maurice Platt entitled "The effect of National conditions on Automobile design in Great Britain." This contains a considerable amount of data, one interesting point being that in 1936 there were as many cars sold between 20 and 25 H.P. as there were above 25 H.P. On page 49 there are also some interesting comments with regard to what customers will expect from the high-priced model production type of car.
