To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to CI. " " BN.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} " " CK.{Mr Clark} ORIGINAL E2/G16/12/19. 2 X3413. RE LODGE PORCELAIN SPARKING PLUG. I send you herewith, in accordance with Mr. Royce's instructions, a Lodge plug of peculiar odd design found on chassis 1EX. This does not follow the standard type with which we are acquainted, and was found by Mr. Royce to be a source of misfiring at low speeds. It has a large metal washer on the central electrode, and the internal insulating surface is totally hidden. Mr. Royce considers that this plug is of no use, and not the sort that we want.
