Dear Sir,

Your letter addressed to Captain Phillips, has been handed to the Club Engineer, as it was thought he might have data which would assist you.

He informs me, however, that all second hand cars submitted for examination are generally speaking, in good condition as far as the dynamo drives are concerned; as this is so obvious from an inspection point of view it would be immediately noted. In order to assist you, however, he is communicating with several of his Examining Engineers in different parts of the country, asking them if they can give any information on the subject and immediately I receive their replies I will have pleasure in communicating with you again.

Yours faithfully,

F.{Mr Friese} P. Armstrong

SECRETARY.
