Suggestion for the operation of the ignition switch to include a warning lamp indicating the key has not been turned off.

We would suggest that the first position of the switch should be the accessory circuit master switch along with armature and Summer charge the ignition being operated by turning the key in the lock, coupled to an ignition red warning lamp which would indicate the key not having been turned when leaving the car.
