EAC.10 FIRST CARS. X.7630 X.7380 X.7770

We are designing bodies and subframes for two EAC.10 cars, and hope to give all the particulars of the first body in a few days.

We have obtained R's approval of a body, of which we enclose a rough tracing just for your information, and we have evolved a means whereby we can purchase this body without transgressing any of the Sales regulations concerning secrecy.

As soon as we have despatched the subframe to you EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} proposes going to London with a view to getting permission to put full size drawings in hand. The drawing of this body handed to the coachbuilders will shew it mounted on a standard Phantom.

We have of course to send you a design for the two wheels at the back.

The pieces you have made for one wheel and luggage grid at the back will come in for the second car which is a Sedanca like 14-EX.

We are aiming at having the first body ready by the end of November.

It would help us considerably if you could give experimental chassis numbers to the 1st. and 2nd. cars, so that we can refer to these bodies by wh that means when writing to the coachbuilders.
