OBJECT OF TEST.
Measurement of twist of front axle due to braking.

TESTER.

CONDITIONS.
Tests carried out on chassis 35-PK. Figures give total difference of readings for pivot lean from normal to fully distorted position.
All readings are average of six independent tests.

SUMMARY OF TEST.

Readings taken on N.S. Pivot. - from normal setting.

Both brakes applied - Max. value .525" AV. value .487"

N.S. brake only - Max. value .462" AV. value .400"

O.S. brake only - Max. & Av. values. .124"

Readings taken on O.S. pivot.

Both brakes applied - Max. value .500" Av. value .475"

O.S. brake only - Max. & Av. values. .412"

N.S. brake only - Max. value .175" Av. value .168"
