Proposed modification to an arrangement involving a magnet and diaphragms.

| -2- far from the pole piece in the at rest position and in fact holding it in a position where the magnet pull is slight- ly better than it now is with the short pedestal. The attached graph shows the comparison between the existing arrangement and that described above. We intend to test this scheme and would welcome any criticism as the diaphragms do not now shrink, we do not feel we will lose anything by having less extension on the diaphragm when it is at rest.
