S.P.81 S. SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD., Cricklewood Works, LONDON, N.W.2. CONTINUATION NO. 2 Messrs.Rolls Royce, Ltd. 13.1.32. We would point out, however, that it is not possible for an "earth return" type as well as a 3-wire type to be fitted in the tank, as the floats would definitely foul each other. We also find that if the "earth return" unit were moved 3½" to the other side of the centre line, it would then foul a pipe which is not shown in your Drawing. We are enclosing drawings giving details of the flange drilling for both type gauges. With regard to the Elliott ammeter you kindly forwarded us, we are arranging to return this under separate cover, and confirm that this instrument was slightly damaged when we received it. Assuring you of our best attention at all times. Yours faithfully, For S.SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LIMITED. [Signature] ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. | ||
