Decided to fit cutout of the Silver Ghost type, but steps to be taken to keep fumes from entering body, probably by the use of a short tail pipe. E.5/HP.27.3.33. states that the only outstanding items are exhaust cutout and undersheets. Unexpected difficulties were encountered with the former which has delayed completion of this section. The undersheets are always the last item and will not delay the completion of the early chassis. 100 M.P.H. Speed. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} said way to achieve this was by improvement in stream-lining. MINUTE 5. SPECTRECodename for Phantom III GENERALLY. E.5/HP.27.3.33. states that the SpectreCodename for Phantom III design work is now going on, and H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} has communicated with R.{Sir Henry Royce} regarding certain important changes he thinks necessary in connection with the design. MINUTE 7. P.II. Boring out cylinders etc. of 86-JS.{Mr Johnson's Secretary} He2/MJ.24.3.33. states that cylinders and pistons bored out larger are completed, and a unit is being prepared fitted with these parts. | ||
