MINUTE 4. BENSPORT GENERALLY. LATEST POSITION at 29.3.33.
Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} said 2nd car be ready Easter.
RHCL/BB.25.3.33. states that instructions are not yet complete from the D.O. for this, but they have promised completion by the end of the month, subject to there being no alterations or setbacks from the Design Dept. Work in general is progressing satisfactorily, and although everything possible is being done to complete the chassis by Easter, it is doubtful whether this can be done.

1. Plain bearings to timing gears in place of ball bearings.
Crankcase suitable for plain bearing timing gears has just been instructed, which involves a rather big pattern alteration.

2. Close ratio gearbox.
3. Modifications to brake gear so as to reduce risk of fouling on bad roads.
