Herewith confirmation to our telephone convers-
ation of yesterday morning -

1. New Avon tyres (one covered 91 miles) to be fitted to the front wheels. These to be balanced by drilling wheels and attaching balance weights. We hope you will have fitted the absolutely new tyre to the near side, but if not, do not change them.
2. Avon tyre characteristics discussed. Report awaited.
3. Hand brake pull off spring considered too heavy as set. GCD.604 dimension 11.875" altered to 10.150" to reduce spring pull from 18 lbs. to 5 - 6 lbs. This change to be tried and reported upon.
4. See if rear floorboards touch cross when deflected by mans weight on rear floor, to reproduce relative movement between body and frame on road.
5. Michelin wheels available. Michelin Pilote and Silent tyres to be tried when Avons are all worn out.
6. Exhaust tail pipe to be rigged up to end level with centre of near side rear wing. See sketch attached. Observe effect on fumes in car.
7. Dynamo brushes in post. These are correct for your dynamo. Wraith brushes fit this dynamo.
8. Receipt of check book confirmed for which many thanks.
9. Avons reported to rub cross steering tubes on corners. Distance pieces may be necessary with Michelin wheels.
10. Arrangements re Van Vooren seats to be made with Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} when you meet him in Paris on Saturday.
