We note that the air temperature thermometer has failed, we suggest that you can now dispense with the bottom water record, and use this thermometer for air temperature.

We have not yet received the results of your oil loss measurements, but note in one daily report that you are extending the test to cover a longer period.

The heavy pedal pressure on the brakes followed by sudden recovery to normal, suggests a foul somewhere in the linkage. Will you please thoroughly examine the system for a possible explanation. The servo swinging arm mechanism is the most likely place. If possible reproduce it with the prop. shaft disconnected.

The rear damper glands are standard production P.III, we are afraid you will have to continue to top up at intervals as we do not wish to disturb the dampers at present. The front damper oil seals have covered over 30,000 miles and have been frequently dismantled and somewhat abused, so consider these to be satisfactory. They have stood up very well on the bump.

Will you please send Mr. Yarnell a note re all parcels dispatched.

Paris depot also do this if sent through them but it gives a double check. It also applies to small items sent by post.
