RE "GOSHAWK II" CARBURETTOR - LEC.1386.
Referring to the joint between the carburettor flange and the cylinder block, it will be necessary to use a gasket.
This latter would probably be best as a copper asbestos joint with a copper ferrule for the large gas-way, and the small one. It was thought that we might have a metal to metal joint at this point with a soft ring in the corner to make the main gas-way perfectly tight; the object of this would be to warm up the spray chamber by contact with the cylinder block. Further details, however, will be sent if this is to be tried.
