"THE MOTOR" --continued. -2- There will be a further Technical Review published at the end of the month, March 29. This will deal with V-type engines; their development and statistical world position will be given, and the drawings will relate to detail features of big ends, valve gear and manifold design as exemplified by proved current types. A point of particular interest in this issue will be the first working drawing of the valve gear on the Auto Union 16-cylinder racing car, in which all 32 valves are operated from one central camshaft. Further reviews are now in course of preparation but I need scarcely say that if there are any particular points you would like to see dealt with as subject matter, I should be very pleased if you would let me know. Sincerely yours, L. Pomeroy. TECHNICAL EDITOR. Induction systems. Remote control gear systems | ||
