| X 3498. EFC1/AD. 10th December, 1929. Messrs. Ferranti Ltd. Hollinwood, Lancs. For the attention of Mr. Baggs. Dear Mr. Baggs, I duly received your letter Radio/G.C. of the 7th inst. in regard to the dashboard ammeters. We thank you for the offer of a visit and will bear this in mind. The impression given in your 3rd. paragraph is quite correct, but in regard to the comparison of the instruments referred to with those of your own make, since we do not claim to be experts on the internal construction of such instruments we think you will see that our point of view is based more on the behaviour of instruments in actual use, in which direction we have not so far realised the degree of perfection with your instruments that we have previously relaised with other makes. With regard to your 4th paragraph, we desire to say that any impression we may have of, and any course we may pursue in connection with, these instruments is quite definitely independent of any unfortunate circumstances in connection with the personal dealings of the undersigned and Ferranti Ltd. He agrees with the generalized statement given at the end of your 4th paragraph. The items referred to in your 5th paragraph have been duly received. Yours faithfully, | ||
