Your Ref:- Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.7/W. 4th September, 1931. For the attention of E.W. Hives Esq., Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. Dear Sir, Re. Electric Petrol Gauge. We thank you for your letter of the 1st inst., and note that you are prepared to allow us to cut a hole in the baffle plate to accomodate the tank unit for the above instrument. We find, however, that one type of unit with a bracket, can easily be accomodated in the tank you have sent us, but as your present petrol tank is slightly different to this, it is possible that an alternative arrangement would make a more satisfactory proposition. Under the circumstances, we would esteem it a favour if you would kindly let us know whether it would be convenient for the undersigned to call upon you early next week and if so, the day which would be most suitable to you. Thanking you for your interest and assuring you of our very keen attention at all times, We are, Yours faithfully, p.p. S.SMITH & SONS (MOTOR ACCESSORIES) LTD. O.S. Pavell. ELECTRICAL ENGINEER. | ||
