At the start drivers should be wearing clean clothes or combinations failing which a fine of Frs 200 will be imposed on them.

SECTION IV

ENTRIES AND INSURANCE

INSURANCE

Art. 34. - Entry fees include the premiums relative to the insurance policies subscribed by the Automobile-Club de l'Ouest conformably with the regulations applying to automobile events (interministerial circulars dated 26th. July 1935 and 28th. May 1936).

These insurances subscribed with companies approved by the Ministry of Labour provide a cover up to one million francs per accident in respect of the civil liability of the organisers, of that of the competitors and that of the officials to third parties police and military employed on police duty in all cases of accidents.

It is in addition specified that the Automobile-Club de l'Ouest has subscribed a supplementary special policy covering it for all accidents to third parties up to an aggregate of nine millions.

Notifications of accidents should be made at once in writing to the Secretary's Office at the Automobile-Club de l'Ouest on the circuit or at the headquarters office, 38, place de la{L. A. Archer} République, Le Mans.

ENTRIES

Art. 35. - The number of entries is limited to sixty (60) which will be registered in order of arrival.

These entries are received exclusively by the Automobile-Club de l'Ouest, 38, place de la{L. A. Archer} République, Le Mans (Sarthe).

No entry will be accepted unless accompanied by the stipulated fees.

These fees, which include the insurance premiums, are fixed as follows for all three events (I6th. Reliability Grand Prix, (I5th. Biennial Rudge-Whitworth Cup and 2nd. Annual Performance Index Cup) :

Per car up to I.500 cc ............. Frs 4.800
Per car up to 2 litres ............. Frs 5.800
Per car above 2 litres ............ Frs 6.800

Competitors entering more than two cars will obtain the benefit of the following reductions :

For the 3rd ......... Frs I.000
For the 4th ......... Frs I.500
For the following ... Frs I.500

Competitors qualified for the final of the I4th. Biennial Rudge-Whitworth Cup and who which to enter the same vehicle in the I5th. Biennial Rudge-Whitworth Cup will have the benefit, for the second entry, of a reduction of 50 % on the fees stipulated.
