I am now making enquiries of the various people whom I circulated some six weeks ago, asking them to collect any dirtied jets, whether they have been able to obtain any. In the meantime I am sending you along a sample of the fluff extracted from the jet of GOK-75 - Sullivan, a car which I believe is at present in the Repair Department on account of this trouble. In this case the fluff was found at the top of the guide portion of the jet, as noted on the paper, but it may of course have actually been collected on the inside of the stand pipe and have been picked up by this portion of the jet when withdrawing it.
