CHASSIS cont'd

(37) 35° servo cams Ex.28498/9 already fitted.
(38) Front equalizer lever GW.931, otherwise N.Sch.5145.
(39) Radiator.
Refit baffle EW.1170 to top tank retaining present SCD.81 baffle already fitted.
(40) Fan.
Fit new 5 blade Cadillac type fan to ECD.243.
Fit .85/1 speed ratio drive with mould No.336 belt.
Pack with Belmoline high melting point grease.
(41) Undershields.
Fit up undersheild scheme to be instructed verbally by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/STD. - no drawings available.
(42) Car Heater.
Fit Buick car heater to be supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std (In position to be indicated by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.) together with defroster and connections for same (ducts to be provided in body by Sanderson & Holmes - we will arrange this.)
(43) Radiator filler Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std.10/WH.20.12.37. EW.1552
(44) Rear Axle.
.4 carbon axle tubes.
Diff. bearings with steel cages.
(45) Jack tank supplied by Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} and held by straps off 32-EX.
(46) Front roll rod FCD.306. Omit rear roll rod.
(47) .064 aluminium bonnet.

ENGINE

(a) Wraith III.No.7. Unit.
After final run on bed, following to be carried out prior to being fitted in chassis.
(i) Inspection of big end bearings, 3 rods having flangeless bearings without location of cap half.
If O.K. refit, but if any signs of trouble, flanged bearings to be fitted.
(ii) Fit brackets to tappet doors in accordance with By/CS.2/EH.22.12.37 to prevent tappets pulling out if the push rods be removed.
