R.R. 235 a (400 T) (S.C. 536. 15-2-16) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 1546. ORIGINAL. R8/W8.2.18. 2 To EFC. from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to BJ. X 1775 Re - Springs. We are designing some springs of very heavy metal and we should be glad if you would inform us whether these are considered of a practical proportion, for instance, the ones in hand are made from 3/8" diameter rod, folded on a 3/4" mandrill, and are therefore only 1 1/2" outside. The/number of convolutions is in the neighbourhood of 4, and the space between the convolutions is about .1". R.{Sir Henry Royce} [STAMP] D RECEIVED 14 FEB 1918 | ||
