STANDARDISATION OF CHASSIS PARTS.

Description of Parts: Modified dist. head and base to Lec. 2121 and D.71005/6 providing for better ventilation.
Origin: To reduce corrosive effects of nitrous gases generated in the distributor.
Experimental Test Report. EPC6/T11.9.25(extract)
"Various bench tests have proved that the rusting of the steel parts and corrosion of the metal parts which occurs in the distributor head is considerably reduced by the provision of more ventilation".
Road Test Report. Run 10,000 miles on 8-EX car in France.
Fitted to 7-EX and 11-EX. Run 2000 miles.
No trouble - recommended for standardisation.
