COMPLETED 14.8.25 STANDARDISATION of CHASSIS PARTS. Date 21.7.25 X No. 4646 Description of Parts. BATTERY IGNITION CONTACT BREAKER RUBBING BLOCK OF BONE GREY FIBRE. Origin. To lessen wear. Experimental Test Report. Bone grey fibre is being used by a large number of makers for a rubbing material. There is less wear compared with continental bakelite when run short of oil. See EFC3/T1.7.25. Road Test Report. Run 12,239 miles on 6-G-11. Run 11,122 miles on 5-EX. No trouble - wear negligible.
