PHANTOM II.

In view of the introduction of new models a discussion took place regarding modifications to P.II and the 20/25 and it was agreed not to introduce further modifications except adjustable tappets and anything to do with customers' complaints.

Adjustable Tappets have already been tested 15,000 miles for Phantoms on 28-EX, and as their application would be very similar on both Bentley's and the 20/25, it was thought that this item should be pursued.

A discussion also took place as to whether it would be possible to show SpectreCodename for Phantom III at the next Olympia Show.

It was not possible to come to any decision on this very important point as so little testing of SpectreCodename for Phantom III has been done as yet.

There are certain important modifications to be embodied in the second car before it can be built up and sent away for test.

It was agreed to order a further 50 sets of raw material, i.e. bar and billet, but not to proceed with any machining work until a decision on this point can be taken.

20/25 21-G-IV. The revised list of points to be tested on this car are as per Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW.26.10.34.

Several of the items being tested on this car will, in view of the above, not be introduced on 20/25's but will prove a useful test for other models.
