S.L.V. Steel for Valves.

You will be pleased to learn that supplies of the above steel are now advised as having been despatched by Messrs. Thos. Firth & Sons Limited. on the 27th inst. as follows:-

18-1/4 cwts 1" Gothic.
46-1/2 " 1-3/8".

and we expect this material to be delivered to the works some time today.

We are informed by our suppliers that the balance of the material required to meet the works demands has now to be forged from ingot, and delivery will be delayed a further three weeks, so that we propose to distribute the material, which we expect delivered today, to complete the 40/50 HP."M" Series, and the 20-HP "S" Series, Valves to cover Repair Department's requirements under order number 22026, to cover the requirements for the Eagle Valves for Japanese Spares, under order number 10557, and to allocate balance of the 1-3/8" Gothic Section to the "F" Engine o {Mr Oldham} /4260.

This will get all production going, and when the balance of material is delivered this will be required for order 4270 "F" Engine, and the "F" Engine Spares, order number 16616.
