BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} C. to DJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}1/M3.7.28. ORIGINAL INDIA 3. EXHAUST SYSTEM. X5230 X5380 Herewith we send N. sch. 2642. giving a sketch of the proposed sheet metal bracket for supporting the silencer to the 'X' shaped cross member. As we expect the lightening holes in the cross member are drilled in the first chassis we have indicated the support arranged accordingly. In future it would appear might to be better to design the support and make the holes to suit, so that we shall send you a further scheme. This is only intended to be a sketch, as we have not verified the exact position of the holes, angle of the cross, etc, and hope that you will reset it out. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
