X.4260 "GOSHAWK II" FRONT DUMB IRONS.
-----------------------------------
Herewith a print of "H" Scheme 755 shewing the Front Dumb Iron modified in accordance with your recent instructions.

Figure I shews the Dumb Iron rivetted, and figure II shews the proposal for liquid brazing. We have discussed this with Mr. Probert in the Forge, and though he thinks it will be rather a difficult forging he thinks that it is possible to do it in two operations. Where the metal is thin, such as on the web of the channel section this is obtained by machining away.
