considered as real magnalium.

We have been in conversation with Mr. Kesterton this morning, re casting characteristics of magnalium, and he states that magnalium is not a good casting metal. It may come out alright in casting test pieces and crankcases, but may not come out alright in casting more complicated pieces like a piston. He gave as an instance of this that he had been able to cast quite easily, test pieces in the metal suggested by Mr. Hall, although he could not obtain a good piston casting in this metal.
