We are duly in receipt of your communication of the 2nd instant concerning Piston EW.2121, and we note that you request a reply by return concerning the delivery of 28 of these items. Your letter although dated the 2nd instant, has been delayed in some way since we only received it today, and we are afraid it would be impossible for us to give you a delivery promise with this communication, but we hope to do so by writing you again tomorrow which we trust will be quite satisfactory to you. With regard to your proposed visit, we shall be very happy indeed to welcome you to our works, and so far as the writer is concerned the most suitable day would be Friday next the 10th instant, and pending further information from you we will reserve this date. Perhaps you will be good enough to write us again therefore advising us if we may look forward to seeing you then and what would be the most suitable time for you to arrive.
