For the attention of Mr.West.

Dear Sirs,

We beg to confirm the writer's interview with you on Tuesday last, on the following matters.

LIGHT WEIGHT SPEEDOMETER.
The Light Weight Speedometer Shell was submitted, and the tests carried out by Mr.West confirm those made here, i.e. it is definitely O.K. and interference-proof. The sample was brought back, and we shall now endeavour to finalise this as quickly as possible.

SAMPLES.
Mr.West is quite pleased with the lay-out of the Multi Instrument, as left by Mr.Manwaring, but would like the following modifications brought in as quickly as possible. The instrument was brought back and handed to Mr.Dorer. The coloured Dials submitted are of no interest, only the Cream as submitted. The word 'Gallons' to be deleted, and the words 'Petrol and Oil' to be brought in inside the scaling on the Dial proper of the two small instruments.
In order to clean up the edges where the two instruments are pushed in, Mr.West asks for the main Dial to be so made as to have a neat beading or moulding pressed in, so that when the Petrol Meter and Oil Gauge are positioned they are pushed in behind this Moulding, thus obscuring the breaks between the Dials - this to be done as neatly and unobtrusively as possible. The Clock Winder to be finally positioned as to between which instruments it is to come down.

Cont'd............
