x4111. S/W (Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}). c. to Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} Complaint case. Joll. - 16-MY. H19/H24.11.33. I have received a message that the work on the noisy valve gear on the above car is completed and that you would require to know about delivery. Will you kindly arrange for the car to be sent to N. tomorrow morning? I may say we shall be very interested to hear what you have been able to do so quickly. C. tells me that you require correspondence relating to this case. We have none. Dr. Joll brought his car to N. last Saturday, expressed himself pretty forcibly about the noise because it had been to N. on previous occasions to keep the valve mechanism quiet, and on his complaint, we immediately arranged to send the car to you, as an example of an engine with this kind of trouble.
