QUARTERLY COMPLAINTS. Referring to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}20/KT.1.11.33., we agree that the majority of the complaints of inefficient brakes are due to inefficiency of the servo, although in certain cases the brakes themselves have had to receive attention, such as re-bedding etc. The reason for their being separated numerically from the servo complaints is simply because the customer has specifically complained of inefficient brakes, but it will be observed that our remarks against both items indicate clearly that it is recognised that the servo is at fault and that the complaints are dealt with by attending to the servo.
