W/N. To Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} 361 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}4/MH.{M. Huckerby}21.3.38. RE CHASSIS 3.AZ.68. Following the complaint sheet N.718 when petrol starvation was reported on the above chassis, I have been asked to ascertain if the customer is now satisfied in view of the fact that another dash pump was fitted. I presume that as he has had the car since 7.9.36 he has not had previous starvation in hot weather, and in this case it was the defective G.5 pump which caused the trouble and accordingly the expense of fitting a pump in the frame was not justified. I should be obliged if you could confirm this. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} | ||
