S E C R E T. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}8/CT. 11th February, 1941. Captain NANNINI, Messrs. Vickers Armstrong, Broadway, Westminster, S.W.1. Dear Captain Nannini, You may remember that I met you at Vickers, Weybridge, with a wooden model of the 40 mm. Rolls-Royce Gun, when we were seeing whether it would go into your turrets. We understand that you have now heard that we are now preparing to test your 40 mm. gun in a Beaufighter which we have at Hucknal, and we should be glad to co-operate with you in getting the guns installed at the earliest moment. If one of your representatives could come up here with the necessary drawings or model, we could decide what to do about the problems of installation. Yours sincerely, | ||
