(1) Will Mr. Bagnall arrange to institute this test on front axle control instruments on all chassis before leaving Mr. Roylance for final test. The time as taken by Mr. Fuller should be 6 secs. ± 1/2 secs, with instruments at room temperature and standard oil. (2) Will Mr. Burton instruct two new alternative drilled valves - A cross hole .750 from head B cross hole .550 from head and instruct for front axle control the following series of 5 valves:- A-12295 hole .850 from head. "A" " .750 " " A-12294 " .650 " " "B" " .550 " " A-12293 " .450 " " With instructions :- "Valve to be carefully bedded to seat by hammering." "Valve to be selected to give leakage time of 6 secs. ± 1/2 sec. at room temperature (70º) when fitted with standard 13.950" arm with a 9 lb. weight. Time to be taken from top of stroke to level of bottom of frame." "This test and final selection of valves must not be made till instruments have been well run in."
