Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr.W.A.George

In answer to your letter of the 4th inst., we would say that your american associated Company replied to our letter stating that in their opinion the very rapid wear of our gears indicated a design problem and that Celeron was not made in this country.

We were not prepared to agree that the design was involved, and we prefer to use British made materials. We therefore decided to seek assistance elsewhere. This we have now done with, we believe, satisfactory results.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
