Dear Sirs,
FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. F.{Mr Friese} J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} HARDY. FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}
CELORON MOULDED GEAR BLANKS.
You wrote to our American associated Company, in June of last year, asking their assistance, in connection with timing Gears for your Phantom lll, 12 cylinder chassis, due to the fact that you had experienced trouble with Fabroid A, giving excessive wear.
It is the opinion of our Technical and Reseach Department in the States, that a Celoron timing Gear would show only a very little wear after operating 20,000 miles.
May we ask, what was the final decision on your part regarding the non-metallic timing Gears, and whether or not, the writer can be of any further assistance to you?
Thanking you for this information in due course.
We are,
Yours faithfully,
MACECHERN & CO. LTD.
DIRECTOR.
