Continued :1: tuned by S.U. so that it is running a little better; the mileage is just on 19,000. I agree therefore that it would be nice for you to have the car, as you suggest in your letter, when you are in a position to give it a big decarbonisation. Incidentally, I have bought myself a little second-hand 1938 4¼ to use in the event of anything happening to my own B 34 AW, so that I would be quite happy to arrange for you to have the car, at your convenience, when you feel the mileage is sufficient to warrant this work. As I am so short of petrol perhaps, when you are next in London, you could drive the car back with you, bringing along a few coupons for that purpose. I would be very grateful if you could manage to do this for me. Kind regards to you and your wife. Yours sincerely, Jack Barclay | ||
