The 2-stage Jacks referred to have so far proved very satisfactory and free from leaks. Unfortunately Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} has not yet had an opportunity of drafting out a scheme for the SpectreCodename for Phantom III, but is hoping to do so in the near future, incorporating a similar 2-stage Jack. For your interest we give below the dimensions of the 2-stage Jack :- Closed length 9.500" Extended 19" Dia. of main cylinder 2.500" These Jacks give a ground clearance of 3.00" as fitted to 28-EX.
