Dear Taub,

I have been looking forward with pleasurable anticipation to the visit that you promised to make to Derby in order to collect any information you require on camshafts and oil feeds, but so far have heard nothing.

I therefore gather that you will have come to the conclusion that Mitchell knows all you want about our camshafts and Vandervell can tell you what you want to know about bearings, which is probably correct.

However, there is lots of other interesting work on here, so that when you can spare the time I believe you would find a visit worthwhile.

In particular, I have got together quite an abundance of information on bore wear which, though it does not agree with some of your findings, I think you will admit is informative.

With kind regards,

Yours sincerely,
