Dear Bill,

I am proposing to visit the Motor Show on Thursday afternoon, October 15th, between the hours of 2-30 and 4-30. Is there any likelihood of your being there? If so I should like to have the opportunity of having a chat with you.

I do not think I have communicated with you since my return from the Continent, but I am sure you will be glad to know that I returned without having any mechanical failure. I must admit I felt a bit nervous on the Autobahn for the safety of my pistons!

I shall be interested to see the Bentley display, which I suppose will include one of the new models with independent front wheel springing!

Yours sincerely,
Richard

[Handwritten note]
If not - why not?! I'm getting too old to be baulked about
Have you tried a Hillman Minx for springing?
