To EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} from BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} U. X.2934- 27th November, 1916. BY3/G271116. RE 190 HP ENGINE CURVES FOR ADMIRALTY. You will remember that Mr. Clark pointed out to you that the consumption figures on the above tests are very low. You promised that he should have another set of figures to replace these at an early date. I would like to emphasise the fact that the Admiralty enquired three times last week for these curves. We had previously told them,(in view of the fact that you had supplied some figures) that they would be approximately ten days. Thispromise was cancelled in view of the consumption figures. Could you kindly let me have the new figures early this week? BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten Notes] Ask Mr Halfale to let you have these curves. Let me have them. [Signature] 27/11/16 Mr Hives + EPs. We must carry out this promise. A Hives that we agree to delivery 2 nos to Rotin - in order to obtain the rest from the list - also promised that the next engine would be correct | ||
