1209. EJJ. from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/R.29.12.36. (Dictated 24.12.36.) VALVE SPRING TESTING RIG. We went over the valve spring testing rig with Valentine last week. He raised the point that there were a number of pedestals required, and wished to know whether it would not be possible to simplify the job. We have carefully considered the matter, and are of the opinion that all the equipment asked for is necessary to make the scheme comprehensive, and when finished it will be of great experimental value owing to its univer-sality. We should, therefore, be glad if you would complete the scheme as drawn. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
