(5) In your letter you say that with the later type of gland the limiting pressure is 50 lbs/sq.in. - you do not say what is the optimum sealing pressure - is this still 15 lbs/sq.in.

(1) Whether you rely for a seal on the press fit of the carbon sealing ring in its housing.
