ILLUMINATION OF INSTRUMENTS ON BENTLEY & R.R. CHASSIS.

Replying to your Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}4/KW.20.4.34..
we have one or two schemes in hand for instrument illumination which Messrs.Smiths are now in process of drawing out. If their promise holds good we expect a visit from them next week complete with their proposals for the modified instruments. We have in mind a different scheme for the Bentley as distinct from R.R., and we hope the scheme we have in mind will be a distinct improvement as regards legibility of instruments at night than our standard schemes. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has already seen the preliminary drawings and approved same.

As soon as further information is available we will get in touch with you so that you can see the schemes and pass an opinion on the same.
