Replying to your Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}4/KW.20.4.34.. we have one or two schemes in hand for instrument illumination which Messrs.Smiths are now in process of drawing out. If their promise holds good we expect a visit from them next week complete with their proposals for the modified instruments. We have in mind a different scheme for the Bentley as distinct from R.R., and we hope the scheme we have in mind will be a distinct improvement as regards legibility of instruments at night than our standard schemes. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} has already seen the preliminary drawings and approved same.
