Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,

WST

Attention of Mr. H.E.West.

Dear Sirs,

ELECTRICAL REV INDICATOR.

Replying to your enquiry of yesterday's date, Ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.8/MA., regarding progress with the design of our Electrical Rev Indicator, whilst this instrument is reasonably satisfactory for the purpose of indicating speed on Commercial vehicles we do not consider it good enough to offer to your goodselves as a Revolution Counter.

The instrument, however, is being further developed and immediately a satisfactory example is available we will let you have it.

Regretting that we are unable to give you more favourable news at the moment.

Yours faithfully,
For S.SMITH & SONS (Motor Accessories)
LTD.,
