we presume approximately 13 m.p.g. in the case of the 40/50 h.p. model.

Furthermore no heat of any sort comes upon the tank in the position of the installation on this car.

You will probably be able to check these figures on this tank installation in one of your cars, in the normal position, which would be an interesting comparison.

It is our experience that heat alone replaces the over-night loss reading quite rapidly, apart from pumping, but against this of course the over-night loss reading is probably in the region of 1/2 gallon, whereas with the installation in question, the over-night loss reading is very small in cases where the unit has been fully corrected before allowing the car to cool down.

It will be recollected that during this test, which was started with the tank filled up to 19 gallons, the air line has been broken three times, and the unit almost fully corrected in the amount of running, down to 4 1/2 gallons.

We also enclose copy of previous figures, covering the period 8th, 9th and 10th December.
